Students, be part of ICSAT 2013! Submit your project report/thesis for the Student Conference on the third day. This is your opportunity to share interdisciplinary perspectives by presenting your research paper and attending other panel presentations.

The members of the scientific committee of the conference as well as delegates of major sponsors will select the winners based on the quality of both paper and presentation.

Conference language is English.

Requirements for Submission

This contest is open to all student members of HAW Ingolstadt. Students are encouraged to submit essays on global or national technical issues as well as research papers, relating to any field of material science e.g. lightweight materials or other technical aspects with the focus on sustainability. Students should display original thought and creativity in the development of the essays, which should include a comprehensive bibliography on which the paper is based.

To enter the competition, each student author must submit.
1. Papers must be written in English, good communication skills and high quality photos are expected.

2. The total length of the submitted abstract (including reference list) may not exceed two pages (no less than 2,000 or more than 4,000 words.)

3. A short vitae (at most two pages).

4. The complete paper.

5. A letter from the Department Chair or Advisor attesting to the fact that the student(s) meet the conditions of the award.

6. Proof that the paper has been submitted for publication.

7. Papers must be unpublished as of the submission deadline date.

8. Only one paper per student is allowed.

9. The paper should be prepared by one author. It should be the original work of that author as far as possible. If a faculty member is listed as co-author, include a letter from the faculty member confirming that you are the primary author.

10. The winner papers are published on the ICSAT Webpage.
